Default Need help troubleshooting

I am having trouble with synchronization errors with a mod I'm making. I get the error no matter what team is being played. I tried to limit the number of variables present. We only had two players (myself and a friend on a LAN), playing the same side. If we did nothing, nothing happened. If we both built (and queued up) only one construction vehicle/worker, nothing happened. However, the instant a second worker/construction vehicle was queued up, we got a synch error. Whatever the problem is, it doesn't get caught by the world builder, as there are no errors in that program when I run it. I would like help in ideas as to what could be causing the problem. I can do most of the troubleshooting myself, but I have no idea where I should start looking. Basically, I need help narrowing down the possibilities so that I can troubleshoot more efficiently.

hmm... proally connection/firewall issue [most of the time]...or a hack...[sometimes] but most likely it proally a connection/firewall/SUCKYCOMP type deal... does the game lag a lot before the error?

Nope. We usually get about 10 seconds or less into the game before the problem hits. Additionally, I don't see how it could be the firewall's fault. We were both using the same switch, and the switch was safely behind our router. Since we weren't using the internet at all, we made no use of the firewall.
