Default No projectile with new weapon (map.ini)

I created a new weapon in map.ini but no projectile or particles show. The weapon works perfectly but theres no projectile and stuff. Any fix for this?

All i did was rename the buggy weapon and increase it's range.

Weapons in map.inis don't always work, a good starting point is to ensure that you never reference anything in a map.ini that's not coded after the reference.

That is, if you specified a unit in the map.ini to use that weapon and the weapon is defined after it, it won't work.

Same goes for everything, if your weapon uses an OCL for instance that's coded in your map.ini AFTER the weapon, your weapon will have problems.

So this problem is probably one of those things that isn't possible to fix?
What does OCL stand for?

Object Creation List... also... i think waraddict is right...because when i was still a early modder, i tried to make a MOD-MAP with new weapons and stuff, and either i got crashes or the stuff was completely ignored... only thing you can do to have the effects you desire is to make a mod and apply it to the map from my experience...

Forget trying to do anything to do with weapon.ini in map.ini, it won't work. Map.ini ignores weapon.ini stuff totally. All you can do in map.ini is mod the projectiles. There are some CINE_ weapons that you can use like CINE_ScudLauncherGunExplosive as they have their own projectiles or else have very long ranges.
