I was thinking of that but you have to tell it to fire! I mean by clicking on the unit it deploys into its object. and then you could undeploy it

You won't be able to make units deploy just by selecting them (nor the old way RA/2 worked...), seeing as that would require new coding.

However, you could do so by implementing buttons for them... Just don't restrict yourself to one way. Mostly, by using various other ways to achieve the deploy/undeploy state, you might even find a way to closely simulate what you are trying to achieve ultimately...

I have often seen that my initial wish for a specific behavior or event to occur, was not achievable directly, due to for example, lack of knowledge. However, after I tried several other ways to get a similar result, I was able to achieve the initial thing I was after, just because I overlooked some options or sorts...

Trying radical new approaches might work...
