Default What causes mismatches online?

Blitzkrieg2 seems to suffer from mismatches online, that didn't happen during beta testing, so I'm wondering if people here now a list of things that cause mismatches during online play.

Map scripts, they are a MASSIVE cause of Mismatches. Other than that, I have no idea >_>

People using trainers or otherwise hacking the memory is also an issue. Worse comes when the cause of the mismatch remains in memory so that all online games mismtach until the game's process is terminated and restarted (at least in Gens/ZH).

but which map scripts? there must be an exact reason. I also guess map.ini could cause mismatches, especially when you transfer them in-game.

well...sometimes.. like if you have a script that says "Local Player" in it or some other type of non specified player scripts, units, teams, or transactions, they usually do it alot... like i used to have this map that when you ran over a crate i had that "Local Player" would recieve 15 tanks...that mismatched 10 times outta 10

Map.ini is overlooked quite a lot I think. Trainers are third-party, but this is a standard file for the game, which is accepted online regardless of its content (assuming its acceptable code). It can be a Royal PitA if put to mischief.

Custom maps can potentially pose a big problem. Mismatches are one thing, but a buffer-overflow is another.
