Default Once more: RiderChangeContain & Structures?

hi there,

I spent a couple of weeks for this problem: how the hell is it possible to combine RiderChangeContain logic with Structures? I want to get a defense structure where I can send in my infantrymen. Depending on which infantry is inside the container, the rider should change like we know it from the CombatBike (and weapons of course). But it doesn't work when I try the same for structures, and since I've defined an infantryman as "InitialPayload" within the RCC the Game crashes

Any help, tips, advices?

The main problem I envisage is that the module requires Locomotors, but then again, since a structure is typically immobile, it wouldn't move anyway. You might be able to create a dummy Locomotor, if necessary of course.

Does your structure have an AI module?

If I recall I've done this before, and it was indeed a locomotor issue ( and hence an AIUpdate module implicitly ).

well, my structure has both: AIUpdate and Locomotor (none of course). So far it's no problem, because the CommandSets of the object doesn't have the CombatBikeEvacuate button, but a normal Command_Evacuate so that riders can go out every time even when the structure "is moving" (by giving it a move target).

The stupidness is that I made a test with the original GLA CombatBike - only with KindOf = STRUCTURE IMMOBILE instead of VEHICLE and the rest was the same. It didn't work... I couldn't load infantry into the "CombatBikeStructure" although the infantry was defined in the RiderChangeContain.

The thing is: it works indeed for structures. I made it for another project. BUT in the other project the rider was nothing more than a dummy spawned inside the container via OCL after Button Click. And now I want nothing else than a real CombatBike only with the difference that it's a structure now.

I don't how I got it working but now it works ^^
