Default I want to create new models in Zero Hour

What program do I use to create new models, as opposed to borrowing old ones, and use them in Zero Hour?

For creating new models, you need GMax with Renegade Tools (RenX) for modeling, PaintShop, Photoshop or similar for the textures, a simple text editor (for coding), a lot of time, coffee and creativity
A lot of modeling tutorials and solutions for several problems are spread over the WWW. Google (or any other search engine) and the board search are a very good help for modding CnC.
GMax can be found here: Turbo Squid -- gmax
RenX is here: RenX and W3D Viewer - FileFront.com

Anyway i have managed to export to W3D following that link, especially the instructions on page 6, but its quite a complicated process and i still haven't worked out how to export PICKBOX properly for example.

Your best bet is to look for tutorials on using Gmax, there are some at the official website of Gmax
