Question Odd units in C&C Generals (with some unintended humor!)

I was creating a mammoth tank for C&C Generals, when all of a sudden, I got a pink one! lol
Here is the link for it:

DeeZire Online - BlueLightning2K6's Album: Pink tanks? - Picture

I put the W3D file for the Mammoth in the W3D folder in the game's directory and coded the model in the Overlord's object code. That is when the pink tank appeared. What do I do to fix this problem? Pink is not a good color for weapons of war! Cute, but not appropriate for this game.

Pink is the colour used when the game cannot find the skin texture DDS or TGA file or cannot match it to the model surfaces. There might be a problem with your W3D file or the location of the texture file.

I completely forgot that when models are created in GMax or RenX, DDS or TGA files are attached to them to make them look realistic in the game's virtual environment. I didn't put the texture files in with the Mammoth model when I was working on it.

BTW: I am using selective objects from different mods I downloaded in a private use mod (I am NOT uploading the mod to the Internet). I am not satisfied with their textures and am trying to use a new style with all of them (since I want to use them in my new Delta faction, I am thinking of white metal plating and blue equilateral triangle logos). Can I directly alter the texture files in their TGA formats or is there another way?

Unhappy Faulty link in CncMaps Map Editing Forums

I clicked on the second link you posted and installed Paint Shop Pro X. However, the second link that thomasalan posted (Corel Paint Shop Pro + Generals DDS format Plugin.rar) in the thread does not work. Where can I find the DDS format Plugin for Paint Shop Pro?
