Default Conflicting Code Errors

Well, after messing around with only 2 sound files, I've managed to screw up my mod.

I reversed my changes, but nothing has improved. Unfortunately, the Autosaves were deleted.

I'll put the file up to see if anyone can give it a look with TibEd2.

ARTYFixNow.TibEd2project - FileFront.com

Perhaps it is conflicting with INIZH?

My most recent changes were with the Raptor Sound Modules, and FireBaseHowitzerGun, the latter being my least concern.

And, here's the log:
<__main__.GeneralsProject instance at 0x0361ADC8>
['DTA', 'PARSEDFILE_SEMANTIC_FAIL_ON_IMPORT', 'PARSEDFILE_SEMANTIC_IMPORT_ON_WRITE', 'PARSEDFILE_SEMANTIC_IMPORT_RIGHT_AWAY', 'TibEd', '__doc__', '__init__', '__module__', 'aliases', 'changed', 'connectGFSwithMFS', 'editorID', 'editorIs', 'files', 'game', '
getDynamicFile', 'getEditFrameInstance', 'getHelpResourcePath', 'getListProvider', 'getModFilenameByAlias', 'getParsedFile', 'getParsedFileSettings', 'getTableProvider', 'meta', 'onImportEvent', 'setGameFolder', 'setModFileFolder', 'shutdown']

So if anyone can help, please do so. Thanks.

Personally I think it is a lot easier to code via Text Editing Programs.

You're probably right. It might as well be the program, but I tired other mods I made and they worked.

I spent about 2 hours looking through INIZH to see if there were any flaws, nothing has turned up yet.

INIZH is the original game inis, you won't find anything there, you need to export the mod and then open the exported big file in your mod subdirectory in the installed game directory.

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\mods

No, thats not the issue, tired inputing text, and it still doesn't work.

Also, I removed that tag a long time ago, and it has not caused any issues since.

You should either comment out the whole line or add a valid value there, you should never have = with nothing the other side.

Did you try running ZH World Builder with the mod installed? It will report parsing ini errors. For it to work you must either extract all the ini files to the proper game sub directories (in the Big file they are stored in sub directories relative to the game root directory where generals.exe is, so extract accordingly), either that, or have the big file into the game root directory (where generals.exe is), so move it there from the mod directory. Then rename it to start with 0 or 1 so that it will be read in alphanumeric order, before the other big files.

Worldbuilder says there are porblems with the AmericaJetRaptor build time, line Line 493 AmericaAir.ini

also you have duplicate moduletag_09 for AmericaJetB3 which will cause a fatal crash.

NukeRadiationFieldWeapon in system.ini has duplicate moduletag_06, as does neutronmissile

There are many other such errors, i suggest you run worldbuilder and see

Hmm, interesting. I ran it, saw the errors, and I now know what to do.

I'll give it a fix in a little bit.
