Smile New Mod! NProject

Finally, my own ZH mod (not mini-mod). This mod called NProject.
It contains many balances and bugfixes, also some new stuff. Boss General also playable.

Quote:
This is NProject Mod. This mod basically improves the Zero Hour game by fixing some reported bugs in the game, with tons of balances and improvement.

There are also additional units, buildings, upgrades, etc. for all factions and sub-factions (including Civilians)
Here the link:
Mediafire - n5p29-nprojectbeta-v100.zip

The screenshots will be coming soon. Next version updates may contain more new stuff. See the readme for more details.

Please reply for comments, suggestions, and bug reports.

Wow. This mod really is awesome. Another thing is that this is somewhat, what I intended to do with a few differences, and am still working on it lol. I really like how you fixed up alot of stuff and added a few goodies as well. It really feels like what I wanted to do. I applaud you man.

lol i'm probably doing something really really stupidly wrong.

i unzipped it into the directory and tried clicking the shortcut but it says "drive or network connection that the shortcut N Project Mod.INK is unavailable."

i guess i should just try playing using the normal shortcut or maybe modselector?

Just stick the .big in your Zero Hour directory, remove your own first though, and start the game as normal. If you want to use the supplied shortcut, you put the .big in "Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data" located in My Documents, and make sure the Zero Hour executable is located at "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\generals.exe", if not, edit the shortcut to point to the correct location.

That's why it's best to put your mod into it's own .big file prefixed with a '0', so no changes actuall take place, only addition which override the default. I use three .big files though, one for art, one for data, and one for audio.

aye well i am cheatin a bit, i've got a mod thats already been done called reborn and i'm messin around tweakin it and adding the odd new thing here n there. This one creates the ini/object folder and also seems to mess with the inizh.big, oh and it adds some new units too from unused models etc.

airforcegeneral in that =

absolutely crap if you get tank rushed or vs aa mg guns but theres nowt like sending over 60 planes out to take out a base. total annihilation in 2 runs or less

Exclamation

If you're still confused how to install my mod: Make sure my mod's big file located in the Zero Hour Data folder in MY DOCUMENTS, not in PROGRAM FILES. Also, make sure there is no other mod installed in the program files' zero hour directory. Two mods cannot works together.
