Default Could someone or some people

Port Zero Hour directly over to BFME, because I'm sure that would help a lot of people especially people who made mods for ZH and wanted to continue them on BFME.

How would porting ZH help anyone who has made mods for ZH? They would still have to make them for BFME, making a ZH port would do them no good, so why bother? Unless it is just another add a couple units mod, but in that case, why bother still? Just make mods for BFME if you are just doing little things.

You can't port ZH directy over...airfields most likely won't work at all.

How do you know? Why would they take this feature out? Doesn't make sense really. I mean there are flying things in BFME.

I said AIRFIELD, not aircraft. You will be able to do helicopters just fine, but if you want airfield logic most likely it won't work (see the latest interview at me-mw for furthur confirmation).

EA pays little attention to mods, and thus they have optimized out every bit of code from B4ME that they don't need for it...despite it being of help for us.

Imagine Dragons landiing at an airfield to recharge fuel to fire flames...

Smurfs right there. Although OTOH, EA sometimes leaves code unused instead of blocking it/substituting it.

Only because they forgot to remove it Except in ZH where they included unused art, but thats a bit different. EA is contradictory in the interview smurf mentions. They say tank mods might be hard because they streamlined the code, but they also say the engine is more robust. Well, which is it, lol. Either we have more power or we have less. Maybe they mean the engine is more robust for THEM not us Also they say they added more than they removed. Well, they must have added a hell a lot because it sounds like they removed a lot considering tanks will be "hard" and planes "difficult". *me worries that they were being honest when they said they streamlined it and the rest is PR spin

We shouldn't have any problem with tanks since there is turret code as well as wheels in the game.

But it might not work quite like that. AFAIK, no in-game footage shows a rotating sub-object. The only turret seen is the Gondor Trebuchet, however this could be replicated by using code similar to the Stinger site, so it might not be evidence of turret code.

I would like to be proved wrong, but someone has to act as devil's advocate...
