Default I finally have an idea for a BFME mod!

Hehe! I'd love to do a TC based on Blood Bowl - just for fun

Hate to burst your bubble, but I think that are an awfull lot of new animations you need...

(altough I would want to record some Ork voices )

Battlefleet Gothic, now that would rule... Seeing those Chaos ships in 3d...

lol, that would be pretty interesting. But I think your underplaying the amount of work involved. I don't think you should have any trouble getting a team together And if you do this means trouble for the community, lol.

You should check out Dh4RTS for Generals - it's a sci-fi cruiser clash that draws fairly heavily from BFG. I'm not sure whether we'll port to BfME after construction mind;

I'm sort of more curious as to how Blood Bowl would work - I mean, does BfME support enough twiddling to get it working, or would it end up being more like a WFD instead? Yeah, I think there would be an awful amount of work involved to get it fully functional 0_o

Im not really a fan of bloodbowl...oh well.

And yeah, the art content in itself would be a massive undertaking.Unfortunately it doesnt grab my interest, so I doubt Id be able to create anything decent for it.

Im happy to help out any dedicated animators though.By dedicated I mean somebody who actually bothers to read the 3dsmax manual and learn on their own steam.If it has to do with getting your artwork into the game, then yes I will help, though if you want me to teach you animating, forget it

Interesting random plug by Ambershee...

Deez, i'm intrigued as to why if you love Warhammer so much, why you didn't endorse or whatever for Only War. :/

I've never heard of these David Hunter mods being released. It's a pretty dumb name for a mod (even dumber if thats the name of the guy making it ). The concept all sounds pretty good, but thats all they appear to be... concepts. Hostile, I think you mean (in C++ anyway):

There's production shot littering the forum threads everywhere. We still need to skin most things so there's not much when it comes to ingame shots (<grumble>, so many models done, all the ini work, </grumble>)

I've released two large releases thus far, the final release of Dh1 is coming along shortly. I only release full working products - no betas or early bits and pieces, which is why you tend not to see so much of it .

It makes sense when you read the story. They're just 'working titles' anyway with the exception of the original. Hell, it was never meant to be catchy or anything spectacular. Hell, it's a huge amount of concept, and it's going to take a LONG time to actualise them all. Fortunately, Dh1 I've been able to deal with mostly as a solo project of late, and Dh4RTS is running along smoothly with only two staff members. I'm however having staffing issues with the others as they require a huge amount of team effort


anyway - that's more than enough thread jacking here. Back to the topic 0_o
