Default Infantry

I looked into the way infantry work a little bit. It appears that all the animations are held within a singular skeleton file which is named the same as its model counterpart. (Essentially the same as Generals). However, there are at least a dozen or more seperate files for each unit. Each one is a .w3d file and they are called from the ini's like animations, however, after viewing them in W3D viewer, there are no animations present and the mesh is simply what looks like a box with a skirt on it. I was slightly confused, but it seems that infantry will not be impossible to do graphically.

:rockbrow: Huh? When did it seem impossible to do the model for infantry? Generals used more or less the same skeleton format as Renegade why would B4ME be different?

The hard part will be the same as for Generals: animations. But its worse so because of the lack of useable anims for modern war mods & the increased number of infantry states. (Note to self: learn to animate)

I'll have to wait for christmas

Oh well, can someone upload one of the models when you get the chance. It doesn't matter which one, I just want to see what the infantry look like up close.
