^ uncomment the GiantBirdSlowDeath module on the Fellbeast object and make sure EjectRiderIfApplicable = is set to 'Yes'. Delete the standard SlowDeathBehavior modules and then make sure that KillRiderWhenVehicleDies = is set to 'No' in the RiderChangeContain module.

You will find then that you can gain control of him when the Fellbeast he is riding dies.

Do you mind if I compile this and post it at The 3rd Age as an INI tutorial?

Huh? O.o I don't see any Ini map in the Data folder. Maybe I'm just missing something..

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)\data

There is only the folder "cursors" and "movies" there. Do I have the wrong version of the game? Or am I just being stupid and in the wrong place? Thanks.

Gah, nevermind. I'm such a noob. >> I didn't extract all the BIG files.

"^ uncomment the GiantBirdSlowDeath module on the Fellbeast object and make sure EjectRiderIfApplicable = is set to 'Yes'. Delete the standard SlowDeathBehavior modules and then make sure that KillRiderWhenVehicleDies = is set to 'No' in the RiderChangeContain module.

You say that I need to delete all the standard SlowDeathBehavior modules, but when I search in the document for the phrase "SlowDeathBehavior" I got a lot of results. Do I just comment them ALL or only a few of them? Sorry, I'm a newb with this.

Also, if I edit all this stuff, would it also work for Multiplayer and such or only for the Campaign? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Ooookay.. Well, I tried to edit some things and started the game exe.. But with the BIG files in a different folder the game doesn't start anymore at all. Maybe this is because I'm using a crack for the game and not the original exe. Can anyone help me with this?

Virtually all models / objects will have a SlowDeathBehaviour, it describes what action to take when they die. Normally the actual code corresponding to the SlowDeathBehaviour is located in the OCL INI file. You should first search for the name of the object you are interested in then search for the SlowDeathBehaviour in that object. If you are interested in the WitchKing, then I believe the object is called, WitchKingOnFellbeast. You will see references in the section which I think will be defined in the OCL file.

The only way your modifications will work in Multiplayer is if the other players have the modifications installed too. If not you will see the dreaded mismatch when the game starts indicating that one or more players has a modified game.

Ooooh. It's working now!

But the Nazgul and Witch King look really ugly.. They dont even have animations.. They stand still while they walk.. No attacking animation.
