Default Resource build speed and projectile distance????

I was just wondering how I might change the rate at which your resources grow, and how to change the distance projectiles can travel or be fired from. Tried a few things already and nothing seems to work, I am a newb when it comes to modding so any help would be great. Thanx,

Check out some Generals ini coding tuts. Its very similar. It's pretty logical and straight forward.

Been looking arround for a while for some tutorials but I haven't had much luck with finding ones that explain these specifically. Can someone point me in the right direction, either a tutorial or a example of which parts of the ini files I may need to edit.

Default FOr the Life of me I cant get this to work

I am able to change most things about most units in the BFME game, but I can not seem to change archer ranges except for the heros. It seems no matter what I set the shot distances to for rank and file archers, the distance they can fire remains the same. Ive tried adjusting their vision distances and such, no dice... Any one know what Im doing wrong?

I tried changing this

ResourceMultiplierLimit = 5.0 ;(5.0)

to make the resources climb faster but it didn't seem to have any effect
I also wanted to make the ring or even star powers climb faster.

do I need to change this.

InitialMaxRingLevel = 60 ;2

tried playing arround with these but didn't seem to do what I wanted.
Am I changing the right values?

What I did to get more resourses was just edit the farms ect themselves. I did not worry about the mods, which I was not sure the consequenses.
