Default Particle system help needed for arrow ground sticking effect

Ah! Just finished exams, so now I can actually get to modding this game As a part of a graphical enhancement, i've been working days on trying to get arrows that miss to stay in the ground by using the particle system, however, I've having trouble getting the arrow particle to align itself properly.

From testing the particle system, while velocities are correct and orientated to the arrow, there is nothing that can orient the ground arrow model in the direction the original arrow came from. Do any of you know if anything can be done to make that work? It looks like it can't be done with this particle system

Unfortunately no, after that insuccess, I tried just making a dirt flying effect, but that proved troublesome too because it was triggered even if it hit the person. The blood effects mod, which was going to include the arrow effects too, is uploaded though, just without arrow efx . Still, at least the blood acts as a nice confirmation of a hit
