Default Is there another Ini value for arrow ranges?

Is there another Ini value for arrow ranges? Ive tried editing the ones in the data.ini for range, but there is no change to the game play, although other changes I have made... Ie hp, speed, ect have worked... I really want to be able to increase arrow ranges for archers by 30% or so, so I can get the back line archers to fire... Note I can change the range on heros by editing their range.. Its just not working for troops. Ill keep testing but if some one can steer me in the right direction on this Id be gratefull.

Those range changes work, but I think the problem you're having might be horde AI related. The horde AI is what determines how far away the horde stays away, and when I lowered the range, the group still stops to fire from long range, but do nothing because they're out of weapon range. Look into that, I think there are factors in the good or evilfactionhordes that might fix that.

The value your looking for along with unit range in gamedata is named good/bad or (race)archerfirerange and is located in the weapon.ini (about 4/5 down) file. You will have to play around with those values i guess.
(Mordor archer unit ranges should take effect right after being changed as the weapon.ini code look (unsure as i dont have files before me) something like this: Mordorarcherfirerange = Mordor_Unit_Archer_Range)
Hope you got any wiser!
