Default make air units do not swoop?

air units with GiantBirdAIUpdate with always try to swoop to their target like the giant eagle,whatever the weapons you give to them.and AIUpdateInterface is just not fit for jet planes.how can i make them do not swoop or control the swoop range/angel?thanks!

Have you tried JetAIUpdate? Even though it's not listed it still may work. Give it a try. Alot of generals coding is still in there.

i searched the game.dat,the JetAIUpdate is not there.ok then i try use it.the game crushed,as expected.

there is a KindOf AIRCRAFT. Would that help. I'm not an expert just trying my best.

AnimationState = DIVING
StateName = Diving
Animation = Diving
AnimationName = CUFellBst_SKL.CUFellBst_ATKD
AnimationMode = LOOP
AnimationBlendTime = 10
AnimationSpeedFactorRange = 0.95 1.05
End


What if you removed the Diving condition state?

i've removed almost all conditionstate except the DefaultModelConditionState.it still swoop...

The swooping condition state may just play an animation when the unit is swooping. The actual swooping is probably controlled by the behavior module, which is unfortunate.
