So it's on C:\ by default right? I've got like 300 megs free there. Is it possible to switch it to the drive where the game is installed, E:\?

I wonder if this is why Worldbuilder has been running so poorly.

I partitioned my HD into seperate drives. I placed BFME inside my games partition. I believe that the maps must be contained where they are. If you have an E: why not uninstall the game and reinstall it there. That should free up but loads of space for you.

It is though. The game is installed on my games drive (E:\) but it appears to keep my profile, editor, and saves in the C:\Documents and Settings\Andy\Application Data\My Battle for Middle-earth Files directory regardless.
