Default Can any1 teach me how to skin units please?

I have got all of the necessery software, I have a big extractor, HEX editor, adobe photoshop and the dds plugins. However i dont know how to reskin units. I want to know how to reskin faramir to give him the gondor soldier armour but all of my tries so far have failed.I need sum1 to teach me, if possible with picture, so i know how to do it, and how to make it show up in the game.
Please write back as soon as possible.
Thanks.

It may help to take the gondor soldier skin and lay it side by side with your Farimor skin and take chunks of one and place it on the other with masques.

Than resave it and it should work.

Go to help menu for photoshop and see masques, (or mask) it let's you take small chunks of a picture. You can cut and past it into another picture. You really need a photoshop tutorial before you even get to skinning.
