Well... the 5 on the numeric keypad resets the camera viewpoint to default, so that might fix it.
And maybe you can tell what you changed in Gamedata.ini in the first place?

If you have a mouse with a wheel you can zoom in and out, I have been looking for something like Maxzoom but there does not seem to be anything? The stuff I changed just affected the angle.

i changed the zoom in and zoom out values thru the gamedata.ini file found in the INI.BIG file...scroll down to where it tells you NOT to change the camera info and change it....lower the min zoom and raise the max zoom numbers
you may need to save the new gamedata.ini file into the INI.BIG and delete the old gamedata file (making sure you change the address of gamedata.ini to match the existing one first)
it messes up the title camera crawl up barad-dur but it also makes you able to view in and out more...
you may need to add

-preferLocalFiles

to the end of your shortcut to the game's main .exe (thats AFTER the quotes)

as far as the angle (pitch) goes im trying that now...dont know if i can do it

i did it...i changed the pitch of the camera!

easy but a pain to do...unpack the maps.BIG file and load whichever maps you want to alter (trust me you'll want to do it for all of the maps) into the world builder and go to EDIT MAP SETTINGS and change the camera pitch to a lower number 5 is fantastic then re-save the map and repack it using FinalBIG and start the game...take note that each map has several versions:good;evil;multiplayer...

there may be some kind of console shortcut but i dont know it

anyone who likes this game (that means you i guess) you HAVE to do this...its so incredible to be able to look over legolas' shoulder as he fires arrows or watch gandalf use his word of power to blow orcs over yor head
