Your question is too vague. I do not know how to rewrite the AI, but perhaps if you ask a more specific question. Like, what are you trying to do? What do you want? Rewriting the AI is only a means to some goal, and perhaps there is another answer to find and get to your goal.

Why dont you try and figure it out for yourself and share your learnings here? After all, thats what a forum is for

Weve all had the game as long as you have...

the files for the AI is stored in Libraries.big. It is .map-files which contains nearly only scripts that you can edit very easiely yourself.....if you can understand what they do

you can find some interesting things in it! ex. you can see that matter how many command points you add to a skirmish match you'll be the only one benefitting from it if playing Easy enemy because it's locked to 80 CP for Good and 160 CP for Evil.

not that hard to understand but a function to search through the scripts would make it a damm lot easier! wasn't that a possible function to be added in a patch by EA?

I heard something a while back about AI templates that would make it easier to add in AI for extra factions. Has anything come of this?

One thing really bugs that needs to be fixed in a mod or the upcoming patch and that is have the AI close there gate.maybe deezire could add it to his minimod.

Yes that does seem to be a no brainer. I would assume if perimeter "X" is breached than activate "close gate" script.

The AI already closes their gate ??. In Medium and Hard, they'll close it. They only have it remain open on Easy
