Default Stuff that COULD have been in BFME...

But was left out, either because it wasn't in the movies, or for whatever reason. I'm re-reading Return of the King, and there's quite a lot of information if you pay attention. Maybe something is useful for modding in, maybe not. For example,

- The Haradrim had horsemen. Faramir got wounded while slaying on of these.
- Grond was carried by creatures that aren't Trolls, as Tolkien states that the Trolls were operating it, not carrying.
- The Witchking was on horseback during the Siege of Minas Tirith, and he only wore a cloak (as Nazgul tend to do), with his crown under it on his head that's made out of fire...
- Minas Tirith actually has seven sections, and seven walls. In BFME, the city has 7 sections because the big rock splits 3 rings into two (=6 sections) and the lowest one, but the books clearly describes that it's 7 rings.
- Soldiers of Rhun wore beards and carried axes, instead of 'm spears.
- There's a wall around the Pelennor, which isn't shown in either any mission or on the Campaign map.
- The helmet of the Tower Guards closes tightly around the face, with large cheek caps. I imagined something like the helmets of Greek hoplites (http://www.dartmouth.edu/~classics/g...rinth12Web.jpg)
- Mordor has big, black Uruks, somewhat like Uruk-hai, but... different. Not as resistant to light and such.
- Mumakils carried some siege equipment.

Witchking was on a fell beast in th movie so they had to do that but Im pretty sure he was on a fell beast in the book too

Grond was pulled by creatures that tolkien didnt describe but they were in the movie as huge rhynos.

The wall around Pellenor wasnt in the movie, so its not in the game. The same goes with the tower guard masks (they were in the movie that way)

Good ideas for modding though

Not in the movie means not in the game. They have a movie license only, hence no Dol Amroth or Elven faction.

And do you really expect them to show every building in Minas Tirith and to scale? Gandalf made the Gates look like a barn door in the game.

NeoKn - The Witchking started using his Fellbeast when the Rohirrim came, but he was on horseback during the Siege.

Arkaine - I don't believe there were any Elves fighting in the books, save for Legolas and Elrond's sons. EA might've had a movie license only, but modders don't care for licenses, hehe

No doubt there were few elves fighting, though there are plenty of sources that would allow for such a faction. After all, Boromir should never have been at Helm's Deep according to the books. Not following the books, though, an elven faction could be a workable addition. Ents may yet help Elves, Eagles certainly would, and the warriors of Lothlorien were most certainly wary of intruders. Aragorn fighting against Gondor doesn't adhere to the books either, but it makes the game interesting.

yes that are things that are missing but there is something else that is missing

in The fellowship of the ring, at the meeting in rivendell sauron says to frodo that no matter there power is for good or evil they will all fall

so why does the evil campaign end with minas tirith and not with mordor vs. isengard

Im sure sauron ment that even if the one that has the ring is good or evil... the ringberer would fall under his (sauronīs) control. i get that imression from reading "World of the ring"

yeah could be

but the good campaign has helmsdeep minastirith and the gate

so why does evil only has helmsdeep en minastirith

the evil campaign is far shorter than the good campaign so with mordor destroying isengard should be a good extra for this loss of length

maybe this comes because i like to play with mordor and the campaign has not enough mordor battles, and i personaly think isengard is a bit weakand saruman is an idiot so i want to take him out with mordor now i can only do this in skirmish and internet

Isengard is actually vastly overpowered in multiplayer games. What is this talk about Mordor destroying Isengard? When did this happen?

I think they're saying that the Evil campaign should have been extended with Mordor destroying Isengard, as would have happened if the Ring had not been destroyed and Mordor's armies overran Gondor.
