Ive tried numerous forums and contcats but nothing gets it to work. Ea dont want to respond .

It says that it cannot see my Radeon 9600se 128mb. Or it can see it, but its not combatible. Although on the box it says it should be.

I have heard there is a problem with the 9600 series. For a video card there are people who stick with nvidia and there are those who stick with ati. IF you want an ati still i would recommend gettign on the the 9800 series, its up to you on how much money you wish to spend. If you want to go with nvidia then use one of the GeForce FX. I use the FX 5200 and it works fine. My roomate has the Radeon 9800 Pro and his works fine for BFME and WoW, and all others.

The final decision is based on what you prefer really.

Same basic core engine but with a lot of new additions. Also the detail on the models and the game world in general is much higher then it was in Generals. There is also the issue of the memory leak which is apparently fixed in the 1.01 patch which is apparently to be released wednesday.

I dont no graphic cards are very complicated systems it could be a a driver problem or it could be a problem with the game either way I think it would run a little slow on your card.

I have an ATI X800 Pro, I think BFME definately prefers NVIDIA cards.

WTF NVIDIA is crap I hope ATI gets better with new drivers. NVIDIA only has 25% of the market but ATI has 56% I think EA should wake up and see the light.

NVIDIA is in the 40% range, ATI is right above 50%. I don't think there's any light to wake up and see. Besides, NVIDIA has deals with many developers through their "The way it's meant to be played" program, where they will help with optimization and such for their cards. I've had no problems with NVIDIA cards, meaning I am not planning to switch any time soon.

I've got a BFG GeForce 6600GT OC and the games runs great (1280x1024 on Ultra High) with almost no lag. You should consider buying a GeForce 6 series card cause it supports all the latest technologies and is ultra fast. All the games I've tried so far run beatifully on 1280x1024 on high settings (I mean games like Farc Cry, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Splinter Cell 1 & 2) BTW, I have 1Gb of RAM, so you should also upgrade that.

My computer is not slow though I have a 4ghz cpu and 1gb of ram a x700xt should be fast enough. I am never going to get a NVIDIA long live the Canadian company.
