Default FinalBIG 0.34 released!

Hi,

I've uploaded FinalBIG 0.34. You can download it here: http://www.wagnerma.de/
It features an INI Editor (right click and you can quickly jump to the top sections of an ini file) and Quick Save. Quick Save is much faster than standard save, as it just appends new files to the end of the ini file and leaves the rest alone (so no reading/writing of 100MB and more as before).
However it will waste some space in the big file (not much, but the released version of a mod should be saved normally).
This feature heavily modifies the way FinalBIG saves files, so I'd appreciate if you tested this release (adding files, removing files, using quick save, using standard save etc) with Generals/LOTR. I've found no flaws so far though.

Thanks,
Matze

I haven't downloaded this yet, but I assume you are using your own editor?

Could you add an option to allow users to specify an exe to use instead as I have my favourite editors and I'd rather stick with it.

Good work!

[Edit] Actually, thinking about it, if you could implement file associations this feature would be much more powerful. Users could then open any file with any associated package, jpg, tga, INI, etc. If you do this, try to assess the system file associations, then there will be no additional configuration required by users that already have them specified.

Thx

Actually I want to extend the ini editor to automatically list possible modules and values in current context. Currently it already lists all sections in the current ini file, allowing you to see the ini file structure and quickly access the corresponding parts.

However regarding other file types like JPEG: thinking about that.
