Default Well goblins that can scale walls

I have alot of questions on how people are modding this. I believe it's a surface type but need some more info so I can I can write a tutorial for it.

I'm sure it was something like Reappelling or something. Anyone care to remind me how these goblins are scaling walls?

I think in their locomotor you can specify what surfaces they can traverse. GROUND, WATER, RUBBLE, CLIFF, etc. Don't know all the different types though.

Take care.

The whole effect would look awesome if EA had left their climbing animations in the game

And I am assuming that there is no way to set up condition states so that we could use our own animations for it.

Well it was your work that generated all the questions about it. Nice work. Very creative. I'll compile something and give you some credits for it.

So did you do anything else besides adjust surface types?

I did find the condition state CLIMBING. I assume that's the one. Dee thanks for showing us how to find all the valid condition states through WB script "set model to codition state" Very useful.

Now all you need to do is take the climbing animations from Colonel Burton of Generals and Zero Hour and apply them to the goblin models.

well other units like orcs use the climbing animations to climb ladders. i am still haveing problems making the goblins use that animation to get up the wall. they also sort of bunch up and jump up the wall. i am thinking about maybe using the AOD to sort it out, but thier horde comtain is complicated.

What properties does tha ladder have (Kindof perhaps) that allows units to climb it? Maybe this can be applied to the walls code to allow climbing.

What is AOD. I missed that.
