Default w3d Viewer

Seems this program no longer interperts animations. BFME animations are erratice and useless when viewed through W3d Viewer.

Does this mean that a new exporter is required for 3ds and gmax to create BFME animations?

Hasn't anyone bothered to save an animation and see? I'm not an animator. I just happened on it.

If you save an animation using current exporters of course it WILL work. The question is, are these animations compatible with BFME?

I can see them without a problem too, maybe you could be a bit more specific about what animation you can't see?

The only thing I noticed about the animations in BFME is that they're all compressed (at least all the ones I've seen so far, I've seen quite a few from all kind of units).

Works fine here too, although there are some anims which do wierd things, but I think they're more the result of poor housekeeping on the part of EA, don't think they're used ingame.

Well take a look at the firing animation for the catapult for example.
