Default Starting Base Units

Where is a faction's starting base units defined (2 hordes of basic infantry)? I can't find any spawning eggs or scripts in the .bse files and I've searched through the ini's pretty thouroughly but they must be somewhere?

They are teams in the multiplayer scripts library that are transferred to the relevant side at the start of the game.

They also do differ whether you start with a castle or camp.

Ok, I think it found the file, in Libraries.big? libaries\multiplayer_start_teams\multiplayer_start _teams.map?

Is there a way to edit/add to it. Its all jibberish to me. There must be a way, its pretty much essential for new factions isn't it?

Yes you need to opne it in WorldBuilder then edit teams.

Im not sure of it still works, but you could try the StartingUnit1 - StartingUnit9 trick for each side in PlayerTemplate.INI.

where in the ini is this refered to or is it just that it is always used and changed for each side?

in the playertemplate there is a commented out bit about starting units, is this what u mean
