Default Gondor Trebuchet Horde

No sooner have I fixed my Worldbuilder problem, then have I decided that I've run into another problem that doesn't seem to want to be solved!

I'm trying to get the Trebuchets to work in groups of three, using the standard horde + formation logic. However, I can't seem to get them to operate correctly; they refuse to act as a formation, and (depending on ini playing) either act independently, or a single trebuchet is produced when built, which doesn't move correctly (it jitters backwards and forwards, through scenery and christ knows what else).

I didn't bother to post the ini work, as it's all fairly cut and dry, using the gondor archer horde as a basis for a copy and paste operation, replacing archer stuff with trebuchet stuff instead. Note, that changing the trebuchet entry from thingclass = machine to thingclass = hordeinfantry has no effect. I've been playing with it for most of today with no real success, after successfully having converted trolls and berserkers into hordes.

Any ideas as to what I've been missing?

Does your horde have these lines?

MachineAllowed = Yes
MachineType = GondorTrebuchet

The horde needs those. You may also want to put FormationPriority = ARTILLERY1 in the Trebuchet's locomotor entry.

Aha! No, it doesn't. In fact I had previously ignored those tags when I spotted them as there are no working examples in the game, and the artillery-unit combo hordes don't use them. I'll give it a try - thanks
