1:it lags as hell even on a P4 2.4 GHZ Proccesor

2:Controlling a Battallion sucks as hell...

3:U cannot turn off some of those ingame settings like the heat effects :|

4:Isengard Archers fires uber fast...

5:Rohans have no siege stuff....

6:Commands dont respond very well...

7:Modding BFME is FRIGGIN' hard...

8:Your Infantrys some times get stuck..

9:You Cannot set your starting resource..."ZH is waay better"

10: You cannot capture enemy buildings....."game balance???"

11:The Menu and Ingame UI lags as hell.

12: Sooo many unit inbalances...

13:Isengard siege weapons is uber cheap....

14:BFME Lags sometimes without a reason... :wtf:

15:Those Particle Effects lags my P4,2.4GHZ,256ram,40GBHDD :wtf:

About the heat effect and the paticles you can change when you set your graphics to custum and choose what you want. Isengard siege units and Mordor siege units are extremely cheap after you build several furnaces. But about the lag you're right. Rohans siege unit are the ents though I confess they are extremly expensive and slow. About Isengard archers they are using crossbows. And historical most crossbows fire faster then bows.

True, however if you have 1GB of Ram and a NVidia 6600GT Card like I do.. it runs fine..

But yes, BFME is poorly optimized IMO. Generals could handle High fine with my old system which was running a 64MB NVidia GeForce4 MX 420...

You dont even need a top of the line graphics card. I have a Nvidia 5500 fx, a gig of ram, and a 1.8 ghz 64-bit proc. and I've never had any problems with it. Even on max settings.

Generals runs kinda fine in my 64MB NVidia GeForce4 MX 440... BFME...

16. Archers have weak armor...

17.3 bersekers can wipe a whole peasant battalion

18.BFME Runs Gay on uber low settings "heat effects still there :S"

19.ermm.....Uruks are more powerfull than gondor soldiers and rohan peasants

To remove heat effects, go into "Custom" and there is a button to turn it off/on.

While you don't need top of the line (Although a 6600GT isn't), if you want the full engine potential.. you need the card and ram. Too much is dependent on it for it to run well without.

Archers are supposed to have weak armor. That's the downside of having a ranged attack.

Uruk Berserkers are the "elite" units of Isengard. That's why you only get one while other units come in Hordes/Battalions of 10/5.

That's the downside for having archers on horses. Use their speed and maneuvarability, not their rate of fire.
