When I got BFME2 I was dissappointed that they didn't have an alt mouse option. Does anyone know of a way to enable this through modding or to contact EA and ask if they could release that feature in a patch?

I asked this at the community day event at EALA last year. Answer was 'sure, we can do that' but they never did. Strange, as the option WAS put in BFMEI when the community suggested it.

I think its implemented in the engine. There is something in the game.dat example: "Options::AlternateMouseSetUp" I've found this in both, BFME and BFME II game.dat files. So I think simply changeing the UI and we can use it, like some Buttons that were hidden in C&C Generals.

Edit: I've found out, that then you add "AlternateMouseSetup = yes" to the Options.ini in your "My Battle for Middle-earth(tm) II Files" Folder, you have the normal Command & Conquer like Mouse.

Its a normal game option so its always your mousesetting, multi or single... who cares? ^^

Shouldn't do - altering the options.ini shouldn't impede multiplayer gameplay, as it's not really used for game balance etc
