Default Map Project, needs a bit of help.

Ok here is my idea. I notice you can put video clips into CnC Generals maps, and I plan to do this in a map that I am making. What I would like to do is cut clips from films such as Black Hawk Down and use them in my map.
For example, in game you see Rangers running into a building - then game-time freezes, and the video clip of the Rangers storming the building in BHD appears. When it finishes, it goes back to game-time.

And many other thing slike this - humvee convoy, firefights, and more. Also some audio taken from the film - eg "Welcome aboard this is the captain speaking - may I remind you this is a NON-smoking helicopter" and stuff like that lol.

My major problem is I am incompetent with video and audio editing lol. I can hold my own when making maps, but hopefully someone could at least tell me of some editing tools that can cut out sections of videos.

I have BHD on DVD...maybe I cant even get into it , I dont know, and thats what I'm asking lol.

Audio shouldnt be as hard - i could record while playing, but the actual video clips have got me stuck lol.
Any help GREATLY appreciated...

Totally easy. I've used programs to back up DVD's I own and then burn them as Vcd. At one point in the process you have to convert file type. When you conert it you can make a selection on what you want to convert. Just convert the small segment you want.

I'll try and find downloads for the programs you'll need.

If you are still here, could you give me some links to some sites where i can get these tools? Thx.

(I'll give you like a ton of credit in the ReadMe...lucky you )

be sure to give the creators of Black Hawk Down some credit, because you might be faced with copyright infringement if you dont (and maybe even if you do)
