TS or RA2? In TS, the editor should have an option to place it and you can select if from the overlay menues anyway. In RA2, you need to use FA 0.98 to place it as the overlay list is crippled in FA2+. However in RA2, the track is the TS track and is still in the TS terrain pallet so it looks odd. The train units don't exist either so its really no point in RA2 with the exception being with the TX v1.4 which is in development (to get tracks) or the mod under the development title "The Project" for all the train features which is yet to be completed and needs mappers to make SP missions for yuris side.

They've put trains and trin line in the Blitzgrieg mod, maybe you should ask there. http://blitzkrieg.westwoodnation.com/

Err - the train track work is entirely by Blade and DJBRETT, intended for use in The Project - just because the Blitzkrieg team didn't see fit to credit them doesn't mean that the Blitzkrieg team is the author of the work.

I didn't I just saw a mod with a train and thought they'd know how to make a train and train tracks, since I don't care for trains in RA2 I didn't know Blade got the trains working.

Blitz are coming under considerable pressure from what I hear due to lack of credit where credit is due. Me and DJBREIT have put conisderable time and effort into researching and making the new terrain and units artwork and coding to support trains in RA2/YR. I can't speak for DJBREIT's feelings on the matter, but I know I'm somewhat agrieved at the situation considering the only thing Blitz did that I know of was to recolour the train units. They don't have everything that we've made though, we have track switches, junctions and crossings that they don't have and I don't think they have the train tunnels either. There are also a number of newer train voxels and the train station graphics that only me and DJBREIT have. DJBREIT is currently working on SnowUrban stuff as well which is looking very good but is a lot of work for him. All will be included in a new TX version as soon as its complete as far as terrain features go.

Wow I didn't know about this stuff, sounds like you guys have been working hard and I can understand why you're upset. I hope you and DJBREIT get the credit you deserve in the future.
