Default Zero Hour: pre-placed items assigned to players?

I am making a multiplayer map with pre-placed items such as laser turrets.

I need to know how to assign the turrets to specific players since
they cannot be captured.

example:
1-5 turrets will be for player 1
6-10 turrets will be for player 2
11-15 turrets will be for player 3

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You can't use most scripts in MP, and I doubt that you can assign things like that. With SP it could work, but not in MP.

Not even with a script?

I have been trying to make a separate team/player for the turrets,
then using a script to surrender those items to an assigned player.

example:
IF
turrets 1-5 assigned/owned by fake player999
TRUE action
assign assets of player999 to player1

This is not exactly what I am inputing, but you get the idea.

Yeah, but they removed the functionality of most scripts in MP. They are to avoid players creating cheat maps and such. There probably are some scripts that work, but I've never really tried them, so I don't know which.

man that is a bummer, i wanted to make some kewl base maps,
where i would pre-build each base with defences and then let everyone
fight it out in the middle like on a center bettlefield
