Hey guys! Sorry for being a nuisance to you all, but I got a problem. I was able to extract the official map named 'Silent River' in the maps.big. I edited it a bit, made a folder of its own, opened
'My Documents/Command&ConquerGeneralsData', and pasted it on the 'Maps' folder. But my edited map didn't appear on the 'Unofficial Map' section when I started the game. I even renamed it but still wasn't there. Any chance you guys can help me? What can I do so I could play with it? Thanks a bunch!

Yeah, i had a similar problem. First of all, make sure in the map settings you delete the name (there some name implanted like testmap). Next make sure the map name and folder name agree. The result of the name in the settings causes the map to be called UNKNOWNmap name), so check under "u" if u got lots o maps.
