Default Camera Pitch - disappearing map

Hey guys!

I'm currently trying to create a shellmap for the demo of Cold War Crisis (yeah, release is near ). I changed the camera pitch for a certain perspective, but then a part of the terrain disappears. Actually I could just change the gamedata.ini and set DrawEntireTerrain to yes, but we don't want to activate this since it costs a lot of power and in the demo map itsself there's no need for it.
Using the map.ini to just activate it for this map doesn't work foor some reason...
I was wondering if there is a script that could help. When I took a look at the original ZH maps, the only thing I coud find was the Oversize the terrain X tiles on each side, but I don't really understand what it does and it doesn't seem to change anything at all... :/

Can anyone help me?

Happened to me, I just ended up avoiding that level of pitch on the camera. Interestingly, I only encountered it in ZH, not vanilla Generals.

If you look at EA's scripts, they use the 'oversize terrain by X tiles' quite a bit, what it does is attempt to increase the 'view distance' of the camera (for lack of a better description), effectively it overrides the terrain clipping so using it should prevent the kind of problem you have. EA used it to make sure terrain didnt vanish if their cutscenes were looking at or towards the edge of a map.

I think what you are looking for is in the mission files for USA mission 2 or 3 in Zero Hour (The one where u destroy Dr Thrax's Oil Dericks). I showed a lot more of the terrain when it showed the airstip. This may be what you were talking about Deezire

Well, the problem is, that it sometimes works, but sometimes there's just no effect. From what I could find out yet is that it works with my German version of ZH, but it doesn't work withenglish ones. I know this sounds strange, but this is the only factor we could find yet. :/
