Hi guys i cant get this sound to work for my flame tower. Can anyone help? And also, this is a great new layout DeeZire, but i presume we'll get our old accounts back, if not dont worry. Ok, here are the inis :roll:

(this is the weapon)

[Flames]
Damage=50
AmbientDamage=2
ROF=60
Range=4
Projectile=Invisible
Speed=1
Warhead=Fire
TerrainFire=yes
Report=FlameAttack
UseSparkParticles=yes
AttachedParticleSystem=FireSys
Burst=2

(this is the sound)

[FlameAttack]
Sounds=$fireburst
Control=random
Volume=90

(by the way the actual sound is called fireburst)

in the soundmd i put xxx=FlmaeAttack, or is this supposed to be fireburst?

It supposed to be FlameAttack, not FlmaeAttack...
Are you that you compacted the sound, after you've added it ? Did u dse XCC sound editor?

I put it in ecacheXX.mix and i selected save, compact, close... am i missing anything?

Now thats where you're wrong.
You need to open XCC mixer. Click on the "Launch". Then select "XCC Sound Editor". Then drag'n'drop files and compact.

Thats all i need to do then? If someone else uses my mod then, will they need to do that? Or does it save something in the ecache mix?

NO, IT DOES NUFFIN WITH ECACHE.MIX, IT MODIFIES AUDIO.BAG AND AUDIO.IDX !!!!!

Ok ok calm down but then im not using xcc mod creator or anything so will i need to put the audio idx and audio bag in my zip for that sound to work on someone elses computer?
