Paradropping vehicles
This is for my Mechwarrior mod, but I posted this question seperately in hopes of it getting attention (sorry if this is a problem). I need a tutorial for paradropping vehicles (in more detailed context, a tutorial that will allow me to add a new paradrop superweapon that paradrops vehicles instead of infantry). Can anybody help me, please?

A tank paradrop cant b done directly. U can use a carryall that has a weapon. Now lift a vehicle and fire an enemy target to get the tank b paradropped. I'm also working on shp tanks those can b directly paradropped, but they r shp file and can't drive hills. But they can have some other abilities like swimming (as they r really built as Infantry, paradrop dont allows vehicles, only infantries).

The Shp tank idea is nice, is there a way that the plain can parradrob the shp tank, then that shp then explodes on impact and creates the vxl tank?? so its like a falling package creat that will contain the tank safe and snug.
???????
But a swiming tank. lol. like the idea.

U can deploy that tank and that turns into a real voxel tank. Here's a better idea, the tank-crates will b dropped (barrels will b seen outside that crate), after the crate drops, u deploy that crate and the crate slowly opens (buildup anim) and the voxel tank comes out.
U can have more properties with shp tanks like cheers (a half infantry body will come out of tank top and will shake hands with cheer). I meant swimming properties as it'll b floater, just like TS GDI apc.

How can i get a infantrie ship to undeploy into a tank?

He's thinking of creating a shp crate thats classified as a VehicleType, that can deployinto a building which spawns a free unit, the tank.

The crate also can b infantry type, but it'll not b movable

Hmmm... The shp to voxel conversion sounds interesting... I'll need some code though, 'cause I don't know how to make such things.

Add the following codes to the shp unit (in YR only) :
IsSimpleDeployer=yes
UnloadingClass=(voxel unit)
Optional code :
DeployingAnim=(anim name)
With deployinganim u can do the effect of converting that shp unit to the voxel unit.
ps. these codes r from Siege Chopper, i'm not responsible for the codes
