Default Basic shp tutorial

Well i am sorry asking this but the search button didnt find me what i wanted.

1. IŽd need a basic shp making tutorial (especially from making them by using existing buildings)

2. IŽd also need a tgc to pcx converter (probably nobody knows one)

3. IŽd love a tutorial how to make jpegs to RA2 usable shps. IŽve tried
it but damn the buildings look :tard: ...maybe cause i dont know how to use psp in the right way.

4.This question isnt worth an own thread: Where can i find the AI.ini (YR)

2 use paint shop pro save as. And look at the bottem of the list.

3/4 use psp to convert jpegs to pcx.

2.) What is tgc image format? Do you mean tga? PSP7 does not have tgc in its list of openable formats.

4.) Use XCC Mixer, like DJBREIT said, that you can get at http://xccu.sourceforge.net/
Open RA2md.mix -> localmd.mix -> aimd.ini

tgc my mistake. :S If it is tgc then I don't know of a conversion program. You can always take a screen shot and cut and paste it into PSP. This may not be the most controlled way of doing it but it work.

That's because of the compression that the jpeg format uses to create smaller files.
Pcx, png or even bmp are better and don't blur your work, though xcc needs Pcx to convert to the shp format the game can use.
(if oyu mean your buildings or woteva suck, jus keep practicing)
