Default Red Alert 2: Advanced Armies

The following attachment contains my new MOD specifications called: The Advanced armies. This MOD is partially completed but before final completion, I would like to know what the others may think about it. I'll be thankful of anyone's constructive suggestions and recommendation. Here is description about what you may get in the attachment.

The Red Reverse.DOC contains technical notes about the completed and in progress tasks and says what this mod will be on Alpha Release.

The Weaponaries.DOC contains new specifications for different Countries and houses and says what this mod will be on Beta and Final Release.

The README.TXT File contains useful information that must be read before proceeding into the other files.

The Main Idea behind this mod is that each side will have a Unique Ship and a Unique Aircraft.

well i like the idea but it is nothing special in my opinion...it sounds not bad but hwo about making it to reality than people can decide if they like it or not. I had many good ideas but i often had to realize its just impossible to make them true. Sometimes there are small things in the rulesmd which make good ideas not working. There are many mods that give each side much more than only a new plane and a new ship. Watch out for Blitzkrieg, Dezirees Mod, Code Red, Genesis and so on.

Fleet, the problem is most people in this editing board would rather mod than play...so unless it benefits their modding possibilities, they dont get interested.

Sure. But don't they think adding their own voices to a mod is modding too. Or otherwise sharing ideas?

I've added my own voices to my mod project (The Project, http://project.cannis.net), but they aren't consistent with the WW ones because WW used soe kind of a distortion that I can't reproduce to give them a kind of radio effect. As for adding just a select few units and even then just adding them to specific countries rather than a few dozen units to all sides is a much better idea. Me and Cannis are working a similar idea into our mods with each country getting a specific battle lab unit as well as their specific radar units.

Yeah but its not a new idea, several of us added voices to our mods... most people dont get interested in anything unless theres something they can download and use, shamely.

Blade, AFAIK the sounds in the game are enhanced in the comp, removing ambientals and such...unless you get someone with knowledge on it, itll be hard to reproduce them (Ive also made home-experiments, and it doesnt sound good).

Oh and whenever you can, can you update the affiliate link to Yr Arg in The Project site? I PMed you twice somewhere else but no response yet.

I have not yey recieved any Private Message. I have the habit of checking my PM Box Every day. Maybe there is a Delivery problem.
