My helicopter launches its grenades in every position. It looks horrible if his back is turned to the direction the projectile comes out. How can i get the helicopter to turn around before shooting?
Jumpjet units have a really hard time with firing weapons which are NOT OmniFire=yes though. Puts a real damper on grenade-launching and missile-firing copters in this game.
Damn! It doesnt work i went through the Deziree Rules Guide but i couldnt find a code for it to work. Does anyone know a combination of codes that could work? The game would really be much better if helicopter could fire rockets and grenades this way. Air-to-Air Attacks would be possible too and would look good.
i've tried it but the result is the same thing...sometimes it turns its back from the target and sometimes it only fires once and nothing.
Yes, I agreed maybe it would be better if the heli is a shp rather than a voxel. Just look at the Rocketeer.
But I've played Aftermath mod and noticed that the heli (Longbow) doesn't have a problem firing it's weapons and doesn't turn around, it just go straight to its target and shoot continuously until it's target is destroyed or the itself is destroyed.
oh, i remember now, there is a section of rules.ini (AI movements controls) where it controls a lot of things, including the whole helicopter thing. there is a tag where it manages if the heli must move or not between shots.
