How about letting the thing get a free ride to the refinerey and when the drone or shall I say miner docks with the refinerey, make it enter the building automatically.
I might suggest having the primary wepon hitch the ride on the miner.
And weapon two would be like weapon 1 except that it might enter the refinery.
This wouldn't work with crono-miners because the origional didn't go with them either.

Yup, ore (hah, bad pun), the other way it could be done is.. somehow, it makes the ore refinery it goes into a kind of negative oil derrik and simultaneously builds an oil derrik of equivalent values, but psoitive for you. The same effect... maybe. How could this be done

drone ore miner is possible, but needs a new refinery building type..in w/c the drone can get out and harvest ore and goes back to the refinery and unloads stuff..
