im also wondering ive got a actual unit created weapons and all called merlin useing a program called tibed and i was gonna use that cameo to make it then post it but i wont i will try and make a new cameo mself but i may need help

It's not a cameo it's an avatar and it may be Highground's...if you look in the custom avatar catalog many people's avatar's are in there....mine isnt though...I don't know why.

Let me get this, U got a unit, and U are gonna use your cameo for it and ....? If its about cameo than listen up,

You'll need xcc util. and ANY graphic application that handles PCX format.

step 1=Make your cameo it should be 60x48 in pixel (size).And in 8 bit too.

step 2=Save it in your RA2 directory, launch xcc mixer. Find lang.mix, Now find cameo.mix
check the cameo. If you cant see the image, press Ctrl+Q to find the RIGHT palet.

step 3=Now that you'veseen the image, go back to the RA2 folder (while you're still in the mixer). Find your image, right click on it and select copy as shp.

step 4=Launch mix editor. Create a new ecache01.mix.You know what, just create a new file.Insert the new shp file that you just created and save (in your ra2 folder).

step 5=Open art.ini and just register your cameo.

you can find the art.ini file in ra2.mix file using xcc mixer. Browse it! Its in there some where.If you need to know how to work on the art.ini file then I suggest you study it (art.ini) first.

Isn't your Avatar supposed to be in RA2 style? Does that have the glass effect? I don't even like the glass effect, so I just always leave it out.

I once put the glass effect onto my avatar and then loaded the RA2 cameo palette.

The hat looks terrible in the palette, and because is is fairly bright, the glass effect doesn't show up well.
