Default Radiation

I want to make a deathweapon that uses a blue radiation glow instead of green, and also use the virusdie animation for infantry instead of nukedie. I also would need the original radiation, and this "new" radiation to be seperate (nuclear missile would use green radiation and such)

Can it be done??? :|

so you want to make a blue radiation field without replacing the green one?

It's probably hardcoded...you probably can't clone it.

There is only one for you to use ... you can make all radiation blue, but not some green and some blue.

Would there be any way to make the building emit the blue light? Sort of like the lamps?

Yep. Just search for the Blue Lamp, and copy all the Light tags (such as LightIntensity=, etc.)

Default I' trying something with radiation too.

I'm trying to make a special tank that emits a healing shroud and it looks like radiation. can it be done? It's for my special tank. It might appear later in the posts if u reply...

You might try making a REALLY big projectile that is circular and very short range. It's crazy, but it might work.

blue radiation is POSSIBLE.. i ALREADY DID it!!!

but once you changed the color of the radiation, all radiation-based weapons will use the SAME color..

Okay, I don't know if this works, it is only a suggestive statement.

You make a new death weapon for your unit. Change its animation to a big blue field, and then have the animation stick around and do damage for however long. It won't necessarily behave as radiation does, but atleast it would have the blue radioactive look and not mess up the actuall green radiations.

MACHINE_GUN_MAN-
Okay, here is a suggestion only. Not sure if works.

Make your tank shoot its projectile(probably an invisible one right?) at whatever. Now make its animation X cells wide similar to a radiation field, and give the animation a -# damage so it heals the units in the area. The only problem with this is that it may heal enemy units also, similar to how the medic logic heals your enemy's infantry if they get close to him.


REMEBER: These are only suggestions. I have never tried these out and they may just waste your time, but it is worth a shoot and maybe they will help you solve your problems.
