Default How do I get blimbombs on parachutes instead of people?

How do I attache blimbombs to parachutes instead of people????

I'd also like to use this for a Jet of some short...

Have the jet fly over and select the building... have it drop these blimbbomb parachutes over the building. HAve the Jet go back to the aircraft headquarters and recharge it's pimp scale... have like 5 parabombs... which the pimpscale represents...???

Can someone help me?

The AR2 mod does have the parabomb ability. Try looking at the source code of the mod and figuring out how they did that or try asking the developement team to help you with the bombs. DO NOT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIER CODE WITH OUT THE TEAM's PERMISSON FIRST.

Ok that quite easy. Let have the BlimpBombP projectile have Parachuted=yes entry .

if u don't want to modify BlimpBomb then copy the following codes to Rule.ini/Rulesmd.ini

[BlimpBombX]
Damage=250
Burst=1
ROF=50
Range=1.5
CellRangefinding=yes
Projectile=BlimpBombXP
Speed=10 ;was 20
Warhead=BlimpHE
Report=KirovAttack
OmniFire=yes

[BlimpBombXP]
Image=ZBOMB
Arm=10
Shadow=no
Acceleration=1
Vertical=yes
DetonationAltitude=20000
Parachuted=yes

Now give ur aircraft the Primary=BlimpBombX . u can set the range of BlimpBombX weapon quite longer so that it starts bombing b4 get too much closer (seems inaccurate effect) .thats all

Its not source code, they are just INI files, no compiling involved. Also modding the ini file doesnt make it yours, it was created by westwood. He can copy the entries all he wants and theres nothing AR2 can do about it. He would not be able to use their art, however, because it belongs to the artist who made it.

Erm, Psycho, when I give a plane that weapon it flies past the target and the bombs fire off the edge of the map...

Yuo're right.. that's exactly what it did... shot right off the edge of the page. I'll post my screen shot of the weirdness pretty soon.

I remember trying to make a unit like this in the past... I ended up making a jet that take passengers of all types... and the selecting a building to attack and it would paradrop the passengers around that building.

I was trying to get the same effect... but with Parabombs....

I lost my old code so I can't really see what I attempted in the past.

Anyways... I'll get that screenshot when I can... the friggin bombs fly straight off the screen and have no parachute. :tard:
