Don't have Generals yet because I have to upgrade half of my PC to be able to play it.

And since I'm still looking for work, I have no money for that.

I have an ATI XPERT 128 video card with 16 MB VRAM, only 64 MB RAM, and 400 Mhz processor...my mother board is maxed out.

RA2/YR and Rengade run slowly for me.

I would have to say red 2 & all the others. I haven't really played generals, just one or two missions on my friends computer, but it didn't really live up to all the things I have heard about it.

Generals, mainly because I haven't played any previous C&C's other than a bit of the original Red Alert and Red Alert 2, but I just like the 3D game, plus editing is so much more interesting (and challenging).

Renegade is the best C&C ever, IMO.

[chuckles] Renegade is an FPS ( for newbies, First Person Shooter ), the others are RTS ( Real Time Strategy ), totally different type of game. So you just prefer FPS's to RTS's.

I prefer RA2/YR. I have a brand new Compaq Presario 6000 custom with GeForce 4 Ti4600, RAM in the 500s, pentium 4 2.00 GHZ, I have to turn DOWN the game speed to keep up with the stuff. RA2 and YR are actually my favorite, then Generals comes next.

what do you mean by Turning down the game speed...dont tell me generals is working smoothly with ya and you should've got the ATI RADEON 9700...its the no.1 graphic card now but it is extremely expensive (about 300 u.s.$)
