Adding Countries

Hi, i'm new to modding RA2, but
I think i've got the hang of it now.

All the changes I make work, apart
from adding a new country to the game
(Australia and China, but just Austrlia
for now). Whenever i load the game as
Aust. a internal error occurs.

Can someone please help me? :/

you can not add new sides/countries, only edit exsiting ones

Could we make a thread or some "NO NEW COUNTRIES" I'm afriad I'm gonna have to give you the haddock treatment.

I will sometime make a country emulation tutorial, as i got an emulation to work already. Im not gonna do it until the release of my conversion though.

Thats right, you do different loading screens, like this

and change anything that involves that country, strings etc, flags etc etc and of course, change the units.

SidSuicide, many others tried that, but unfortunately it will not work. there is only one way to add new countries to RA2 and RA2YR. That is ALTERING THE F**king .EXE !!!

Be Warned!! some member tried to alter the .exe and he was able to produce good results such as AI improvement. but altering the .exe is the only way to add new countries to RA2 and RA2YR. Altering the .exe and distributing the modified one is bad. he was then, informed by some moron and told him not to distribute the modified .exe.

Again, Be Warned!!! some members here are Flak addicts. they tend to flare up just say unnecessary comments, therefore starting flamethrowers that flame everybody, saying things that would start bad. If they would only reach out, this World of ours has a chance for the Good, never for evil..
