RA2 Yuri Issues
I was thinking for Sovs RA2 Yuri of giving it Magnetron beam against tanks as some kind of offensive wepon, (e.g: it damages, not levitates it) could this be done, and if so how.

I think you can do it if you copy the building version of the mag beam and change the damage range from buildings to tanks then place that on the primery weapon.

U can't bring a YR hardcoded stuff to Ra2. MagBeam is Hardcoded to YR.

OK, I'll make things a bit clearer.
Yuri in Red Alert 2 is virtually useless after he MC's something since he has no way of damaging tanks, (and lets face it, who uses infantry at this point anyway), so if I gave Yuri the Magnetron beam, except tweaked to treat the tanks as BUILDINGS (e.g: it would damage the tanks, not levitate them), it would balance things out a bit. Make Yuri a one buildable unit and I think we've got a done deal. So Yuri would have three weapons:
1. Mind Control
2. Psi Wave v Infantry
3. Mag Beam v Tanks
In a perfect world I would code it so he wouldn't use Mag Beam until he had Mc'ed something, but I'm not too sure how you do that :/ .

Ok as said up there, you are working in Ra2 ?? Ok but if you are working in yr you can do it as i said up there, but you must replace the weapon that is placed in the primery slot with the copy of the 2ndary one that can effect the tanks armour type

hmmm
yer, psi on primary
but secondary, you would have to remove the deploy stuff, and make him effect tanks using something else, as the magnatron beam was written after RA2 so the effect isn't there, you can only have 2 weapons, and if the mind control can take over tanks the second weapon will never be fired, so, the easiest thing to do would be to make the psi wave effect tanks and maybe bildings too, but then it will be identicle to the yuri prime you get from stealing sov tech with a sov house.
