Default New countries...

I was wondering if any one could help me.
What would you do if you were to replace the neutral "civilian" with a new country of your own.
It's for my mod.

You can only replace an existing faction with it working fully. Same happens with MCVs. Countries canot be added, as theres no reference in the game code to a new country for loadscreens and faction selection (and actually many more things).

Neutral sides cannot be made playable without its share of bugs either.

You're wrong about the "only having 3 MCV'S" You can ad an 4th working MCV but you still have to replace an country for it.
Place the MCV and the CY on the 1st place of their list (baseunit= and Conyard= )

MCVs can be added, but say Bye Bye to Short Game. (By saying the same, im meaning it has the same sort of problem)

I haven't seen a code like this in rules.ini

been there seen that - just about a month ago...
Worked fine with me, but the AI wouldn't deploy it and whoever checked short game got an instant explosion...

The solution I picked it letting my Star Forces use the allied MCV, but they can't build any allied buildings except the power plant...(got errors when I forbid it)

but what about Eagle red MOD?? they have two new countries with their loading screens but i dont know about the AI.

i guess you will have to assign all the buildings to your 'new' country, make a loading screen for it and some AI script...and everything will work fine ..i dont know about naming but i gess it will be loadxxx600.pcx or something like that..im not really sure

I'm 110% sure that Eagle just replaced pre-existing countries...as suggested by ArgCmdr some posts ago...

Erm, Renegade is correct. They just changed CSF and loading screens....its the same as if you create new loading screens for every country and rename them...

He's deleting Yuri, so I think he makes the two countries (China and Japan, I thought) just one Asian Alliance.
