Unless you consider one year a newbie, I'm not one. Anyway, if you actually paid attention to my previous posts here, I'm just trying to get a suicide unit to explode when deployed. I have the following deploy-related tags...
Deploys=yes
Deployfireindex=0 (may not be typed correctly here, but is in INI file)
Primary=DemoBomb
DeathWeapon=DemoBomb

well you are acting like a newbie...
you should read the comments in the ini files, for example the list of tags that you can put on units and buildings, it doesn't include every possible tag, but it can be quite helpful.
Is this unit an shp or a vxl?
If it's a voxel then it may need a dummy building to "deploy" into.

What would the 'dummy' building have to do? I'm curious because I have not really used the deploy tags till now...
BTW, you may consider me a newbie, but at least admit I'm good for a 13 y.o.

Wait a minute! Forget about the dummy structure...
Do you have DeployFire=yes?
DeployToFire=yes
DeployFire=yes
DeployFireWeapon=0
You may also want to have:
CanPassiveAquire=no
CanRetaliate=no
Trainable=no

There's an easy way to find out... Make a clone of the seige chopper and change the name. Give it a different primary weapon just to be sure its a little different, if it works, its not hardcoded, if it doesn't then it is.
