Paradropping helicopters r way too buggy to be used, the units HVA is messed up, infantry is just fine.

i tried making the [SHAD] paradrop infantry but the its rotor blades did not spin and it was really for aircraft types such as the hardcoded [PDPLANE] w/c used in Paradrop superweapons..

its .hva didn't screw up. it is really meant for PLANES only. and paradropping survivors from planes that are shot down are not possible.. it is possible only in DropPods.. but, in my case.. a GI floated in mid air and he is controllable..after the attack chopper was shot down but he was also killed by Flak Cannons and Patriot Missiles even Rocketeers killed him..

it is proven, that jumpjets like in my case could have a survivor but cannot parachute down like it did in Red Alert 1..

You can do all this Paradrop-Tank-Stuff in maps called by triggers/scripts and stuff, without changing anything on the units. But you can't do it player-controlled for some reason...

I thought that to be small enough to not ruin the entire unit .

The Tank that get's paradrop gets it's HVA screwed up, I'm sure :| .

1.: In Yuri's Revenge, dropping "helicopters" work, because they enabled animated voxels for the Spy Plane - i.e. the HVA will be read as normal. If you don't believe me, download my mod.

2. ComradeJ is right; a dropped tank's HVA is screwed up. The tank appears to be below it's shadow.

3. LordShay: He pondered about a Soviet Mission where tanks were dropped by planes. Missions are usually played on maps. Considering this fact, my previous post totally makes sense.

hey i have now made the Plane that paradrops infantry

only need to put is

Copy some aircraft codes like ORCA,BEAG
then Put some passenger codes
remove the AirportBound
,the primary is "ParadropWeapon"
but there is some problem when paradropping infantry, it paradrops one by one
